Weekly Sessions and Workshops Weekly sessions are taught in a semi-private 6-week series. January-Feburary Sessions Focus - Viniyoga for Better Health This class explores yoga as a modality to improve health and well being. Incorporating a holistic approach to yoga, goals include releasing muscle tension, improving focus, balancing the nervous system, calming the mind, and relieving stress. Focus - Happy Neck and Shoulders This series is designed to help you release tension and improve function in your neck and shoulders. Perfect for those who spend the day working at a desk, or in a high stress job. Grab your spot in this class and learn yoga postures and breathing techniques to strengthen and stabilize your neck and shoulders. Please note; if you have a diagnosed cause for your neck/shoulder pain, or your pain is acute, you should call to be sure that this series is appropriate for your specific condition. January Workshop Meditation 101 Science is showing there is more to meditation than meets the eye. It has been found to reduce stress, help balance the nervous system and it actually changes your brain for the better! This informative workshop will walk you through the steps for a successful meditation practice. Included with the workshop is written and audio support for creating a meditation practice at home. The ability to understand why anxiety occurs and how you can take active steps to counter it is a tool everyone should have. In this workshop we will look at the physiological cycle that creates anxiety and explore tools and techniques to shift your anxiety so you can begin live your life anxiety free!
