"Yoga gives you a foundation.
Then you can build anything you want over it."
    - Swami Satchidananda

What's in the name~
Coming from the Latin word meaning to be wise, a Sage is a person noted for wisdom, knowledge, sound judgment, and keen perception.

Thousands of years ago, ancient Sages developed the system of yoga to help people live more satisfying lives. Its techniques are still relevant and effective today.

At Sage Stone Yoga we use this ancient wisdom to help you build a solid foundation of body, mind, and spirit, upon which you can build and maintain your life.

What's in the logo~
The logo design is based on a cairn, a man-made pile of stones similar to the one used for the website menu. In the logo, you see an image of a person with open arms. At the base of the image is a foundation stone, solid and supporting, the head of the image represents the top stone in a cairn and signifies balance.

Since ancient times, cairns have been used to mark trails. They mark changes in direction along the path and can also note danger ahead such as a sudden drop or washed out area along the trail. Because of their strength and stability cairns continue to stand long after a trail is out of use.

Yoga is like a cairn. It guides you on your personal path in life, helping you see the dangers and necessary turns along the way. After thousands of years, yoga still stands, waiting to guide you.

The logo represents having a strong stable foundation, and finding balance in all things.
